GET A NATURAL BROWN COLOR WITH THE HELP OF HENNA AND INDIGO

Beautiful and healthy hair doesn't have to be just your secret dream anymore. Our natural brown color is obtained from the plants Lawsonia inermis and Indigofera tinctoria, which are grown in India. Although we can come across them in different corners of the world, it is India that provides the best climatic conditions for their cultivation. The high pigment content together with gentle processing in the form of fine grinding and triple filtration guarantee that henna with indigo is very easy to apply and rinse off. It doesn't create any lumps in your hair, so you really enjoy working with it.

THE MAIN BENEFITS OF HENNA & INDIGO

✿ contains tannins that affect the scalp and prevent oiliness and the formation of dandruff

✿ natural origin guarantees that it is extremely sensitive and suitable even for pregnant and breastfeeding women< /p>

✿ stays on the hair for a long time despite the fact that it does not disturb the integrity of the hair fiber

✿ contributes to the strengthening of the hair fiber and gives the hair a radiant shine

✿ is also suitable for covering gray hair

WHAT COLOR DO YOU NEED HENNA & WILL INDIGO CATCH?

Henna belongs to natural hair products. When dyeing, it does not disturb the hair fiber, so it does not lighten the hair. So the final color of your hair will depend on what shade your hair is before dyeing. The effect also depends on the individual properties of the hair.

In a bowl, we prepare 50g of henna and indigo for short to 100g for long hair. Cover the powder with water or another liquid at about 50°C. Mix the mass properly.

We apply the created slurry to washed and slightly damp hair, which we then cover with a plastic cap and a towel.

Let the preparation work for at least one to several hours. The intensity of the coloring and beneficial effects of henna increases with the duration of the action. Take your favorite book for now :)

We wash the hair thoroughly and treat it with the usual procedure.

CAUTIONS

! Before using henna and other natural dyes, it is not recommended to use shampoos and conditioners with silicones, which prevent natural pigments from penetrating the hair structure. The hair should be clean and free of residues of fixatives and sprays.

! Before dyeing, we recommend doing a skin test to see if there is a possible reaction of indigo to the skin.

! Store in a dry, dark place.

! In our frequently asked questions section, you will discover the most common questions about natural hair dyes. If you do not find your question, do not hesitate to contact us and we will be happy to answer it.

For your easier orientation, we also list the English equivalent after the composition in the INCI language.

The color with indigo caught my eye. What should I do?

If henna containing indigo is applied to very light hair (blonde or gray), it may happen that the resulting color will have green reflections. The color should adjust and stabilize at the desired shade within 24 hours, but to avoid this unwanted effect, we recommend applying natural colors containing indigo to light hair in two phases. This means, first use pure henna (copper) and then the desired final color (e.g. Henna&Indigo, Henna&3xIndigo or Indigo).

The color didnt catch me at all or caught it very poorly. What should I do?

If a natural color is applied to very light hair (blonde or gray), it may not hold sufficiently in some cases. For ideal coloring on fair hair, we recommend leaving pure henna (copper) to stand for at least one hour before application. On the other hand, natural color containing indigo must be applied immediately after mixing with water. In addition, when applying color with an indigo content, we recommend dyeing in two phases in the case of light hair, first with pure henna (copper) and then with the desired color. This way the color covers better.

HOW LONG DOES THE COLOR LAST ON HAIR?

Henna is a permanent color that does not wash off. Indigo is a semi-permanent color and washes out gently. It depends on a number of factors, e.g. how often the hair is washed, exposed to the sun, but also from the structure and condition of the hair.

HOW OFTEN CAN IT BE USED?

Since it is a 100% natural product, you can use it as often as you want.
However, you should be aware that with repeated use on the entire length of the hair, the color will layer and thus create darker shades. If you do not want your hair color to darken, we recommend applying it only to the regrowth.

CAN HENNA BE USED IN COMBINATION WITH CHEMICAL HAIR DYES?

Yes and no. Pure henna (copper) can be combined with chemical colors without any worries, including applying it to chemically colored hair as well as applying chemical colors to henna-dyed hair.
Be careful, however, if the henna mixture contains indigo (i.e. All our other hair dyes except copper), we do not recommend using light chemical dyes, peroxide or other lighteners on naturally colored hair. The result could be green hair.

In addition to this warning, we recommend keeping a 2-week gap between chemical dyeing and natural dyeing. On the other hand, we have personal experience with the use of peroxide and the immediate use of pure henna without any unwanted effect.

SHOULD HAIR BE WASHED BEFORE COLORING? AND SHOULD THEY BE DRY, TOWLED OR WET BEFORE APPLICATION?

Hair does not have to be freshly washed, but it should not be greasy. The color can be applied to dry or towel-dried hair. If your hair is not greasy, you can apply it immediately.

✿ WILL THIS PRODUCT COLOR THE SKIN ON MY HANDS OR HEAD AROUND MY HAIR?

The color can stain your skin for about a day, but then the color washes off. You can prevent these spots on your skin by applying petroleum jelly around these areas and using rubber gloves.

✿ IS IT SAFE TO SWIM IN THE POOL AFTER DYEING LIKE THIS?

Yes, if you wash it properly after applying henna, then it is safe to swim in the pool with hennaed hair.
